The halfway point!
If you haven’t backed up your novel your need to today! At the NaNoStation they backup their novels every Monday, and that works too, just back it up.
And, at halfway, we’re supposed to have 25k. Do you? I have 33k, but i still have a problem, because each day I’m asking myself, “So, what am I going to write today?” I’m going to kill a character soon, but what after that resolves? I don’t know.
But having a cat in your lap helps. With two cats who love to be pet, it’s always easy to get one on your lap. I love cats. I made a post last June about NaNoWriMo cats. I won’t do that again, so forget it, but you can go back and look at it.
Aaannd that’s about it. You know blog posts have been really lame lately. I don’t know why you people follow my blog.
Okay, I have something to blog about. Today I read Romans 8. It’s an amazing chapter, and I think i’m going to memorize the whole thing, because it has so many applicable promises and statements. What can beat it?
There is therefore now, NO condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. All who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, but whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” The Spirit helps us in our weakness, For we do not know what to pray for s we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. What shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Wow!
Enough said. November 15th with 33158 words and a heart of thanksgiving.
